West Palm Beach, FL, July 7, 2008 -- On July 7, the staff of MorseLife held a ceremony in the Rose Garden of Morse Geriatric Center to officially commemorate the day 25 years ago that we opened our doors to the first residents — July 7, 1983. In doing so, the organization buried a Silver Anniversary Time Capsule including memorabilia, staff photographs, equipment, stationery and other items circa 2008 which will be opened in 25 years.

"We are here during a wonderful time in our history - we are embarking on our silver anniversary - 25 years of making lives better for seniors of our community," said Keith Myers, President/CEO for MorseLife at the ceremony. "And we are looking ahead to another 25 years in our future - and further down that road as the premier senior care organization in this nation.
"Today, we are burying a time capsule circa 2008 - the year of our 25th anniversary - a true milestone, and allevai - a few of us may be here to open it in the year 2033," he said.
The time capsule ceremony was one of many events being held this year in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the founding of Morse Geriatric Center. The celebratory year culminates with the Silver Anniversary Ball, to be held December 11th at The Breakers, Palm Beach.
