“Secure Yourself A Friend; Two Are Better Than One.”
The Friends of MorseLife is a dedicated group of men and women of all ages and backgrounds, willing to give of their time, talent and experience to enable seniors served by MorseLife to live their lives with quality and dignity. This group brings together two groups that were founded in our beginnings – the Women’s Auxiliary and Men’s Associates – now working together as one powerful entity dedicated to enhancing the lives of those we serve on our campus and in the community.
As a member of the Friends of MorseLife, you can participate in everything from major fundraising initiatives to activities and events that benefit the seniors we serve. You provide that extra caring touch and convey a sense of home and family to those in our care. You join a like-minded group of passionate, creative and generous men and women all committed to making the work of MorseLife possible – now and in the future – and you’ll experience a joyful sense of camaraderie with those who share a common goal – to make a difference.
As a fundraising arm of MorseLife, the Friends of MorseLife give of their time and energy to make a wonderful difference to the lives of seniors we serve. Every year, the group raises funds through such events and activities as the annual Friends of MorseLife Day Golf Tournament and Card Party, Annual Gala including this year’s Silver Anniversary Ball, the Tribute Fund and membership drives. These events help to pay for both designated gifts, such as the wheelchair accessible van provided this year, as well as flowers and wine for Shabbat and the holidays, events and outings and presents for residents of Morse Geriatric Center for Chanukah, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. Additionally, they provide funding for a music enhancement program and Direct TV service for all Morse Geriatric Center residents, as well as special needs grants.
