Requirements
Assists in coordinating and participates in food production and service by preparing quality Kosher meals, according to menus, and recipes.
- Maintains a safe and sanitary department according to established rules and regulations.
- Check menu for upcoming meals to assure all necessary ingredients are available Removes frozen meat and poultry items from freezer allowing adequate time for safe thawing.
- Reviews and develops recipes based on type of food to be prepared according to therapeutic diets. Follows standardized menus and recipes.
- Cooks or otherwise prepares food according to recipe following the laws of Kosher cooking.
Work Hours
11:30 am - 8:00 pm
Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
